Hello and happy weekend everyone. Here’s top tip number 5.
One of the most calming minerals is magnesium. Magnesium helps improve sleep, concentration and focus. It helps relax muscles reducing leg cramps, PMS, palpitations. It can reduce anxiety and many of the symptoms and effects of stress. It helps absorption of calcium. Overall, magnesium is one of the most effective minerals to help us be calm and feel alive.
However, most people are deficient in this mineral through changes in soil quality over the past half century and through dietary choices. We can choose healthier food and magnesium is quite simple to increase in your daily diet. Pumpkin seeds are an excellent source of magnesium. Add a large handful of these seeds on a daily basis and you will already be taking in around 50-60% of the recommended daily intake. Other good sources of magnesium include baked potato with skin, beans, tuna and halibut, dark green leafy veg and whole grains.
